Dear SIG members,
The Global Policy Proposal 2011-01, "Global Policy for post exhaustion
IPv4 allocation mechanisms by the IANA" was accepted by the APNIC
community as prop-097: Global Policy for post exhaustion IPv4 allocation
mechanisms by the IANA.
http://www.apnic.net/policy/proposals/prop-097
The ICANN Board recently ratified the global policy proposal.
The resolution is now available at:
https://www.icann.org/en/groups/board/documents/resolutions-06may12-en.htm#1.1
Accordingly, IANA has updated its page of Global Addressing Policies
to reflect the ratification.
https://www.icann.org/en/news/in-focus/global-addressing
More details can be seen at:
https://www.icann.org/en/news/in-focus/global-addressing/allocation-ipv4-post-exhaustion
Regards
Andy, Skeeve, and Masato
