prop-096:
Maintaining demonstrated needs requirement in transfer policy after
the final /8 phase
_____________________________________________________________________
Dear colleagues
The eight-week final comment period for the proposal 'Maintaining
demonstrated needs requirement in transfer policy after the final /8
phase' has ended. During the comment period there were no objections
raised to the proposal. The Chairs therefore deem that consensus has
been maintained on the proposal.
Only one comment was received on prop-096 suggesting the phrase 'after
the final /8 phase' was no longer required as APNIC has now reached this
stage of IPv4 exhaustion. The Chairs do not see this as an objection and
believe the phrase makes no material difference to the intent of the
proposal.
We formally request that the APNIC Executive Council endorse this
proposal.
