-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The document has been updated to reflect the implementation of two
policy proposals endorsed by the APNIC Executive Council. The changes are
as follows:
- the minimum allocation size is lowered to a /21 and the
criteria for an initial allocation are amended;
- public registration of customer assignments is made optional
by using a 'public' attribute in the APNIC Whois Database.
The document is available at:

This draft is intended to implement the consensus decisions reached at
the following meetings:
- APNIC 16 (endorsed by the Executive Council on 20 November 2003)
in relation to proposal prop-007-v001.
- APNIC 17 (endorsed by the Executive Council on 14 May 2004) in
relation to proposal prop-014-v001.
Details of the original proposals and links to discussions are available

Nature of the document review
-----------------------------
This is an editorial review only. The APNIC community has already reached
consensus on the policy issues which are to implemented.
Therefore, during the comment period, interested parties may:
- object to the draft document on the grounds that it does not
properly reflect the consensus decision reached in the Policy
Review Process;

more consideration of substantial revisions.
