[sig-policy] Document update: "Experimental allocations policy"
Document update:
"Experimental allocations policy"
___________________________________________________________
APNIC seeks final comments on the following draft document:
-----------------------------------
* Experimental allocations policy
-----------------------------------
This document describes policies relating to the temporary allocation and
assignment of Internet resources for experimental purposes. It is available
at:
http://www.apnic.net/docs/drafts/draft-experimental-alloc-1.html
This draft represents a minor amendment to section 13 of the current
document APNIC-109.
The amendment is intended to clarify that experimental allocations are not
subject to any fees. Experimental allocations are only available to APNIC
members, but they are exempt from the IP resource application fee and are
not considered when evaluating membership tier.
Nature of the document review
-----------------------------
This is an editorial review only. The APNIC community has already reached
consensus on the policy issues which are to implemented.
Therefore, during the comment period, interested parties may:
- object to the draft document on the grounds that it does not
properly reflect the consensus decision reached in the Policy
Review Process;
- suggest improvements of any aspect of the document;
- request that an additional call for comment be made to allow
more consideration of substantial revisions.
Deadline for comments
-------------------
Your comments are requested by 15 June 2004. Please send your comments to
the sig-policy mailing list. Details at:
