The Address Policy Special Interest Group (SIG) will be held in Bangkok
on 3-7th October as part of the APNIC policy meeting. This SIG is
an open forum for the Asia-Pacific region for the discussion of policies
governing the management of public IP address space. Everyone is welcome!
This email is a request for presentations from all of you from the
Asia-Pacific region.
The issue you propose to discuss should have some relevance to address
policy such as:
- IPv4 allocation and assignment policies
- IPv6 allocation and assignment policies
- any guidelines
If you would like to join us in the SIG, send your proposal to
<arano at gblx dot ad dot jp>, cc-ing to <sig at apnic dot net>. Proposals should be sent no
later than 7th January, 2001.

Requirements
------------
The proposal:
- should be related to address policy
- should be within 1000 words,
and
- should describe your perspective on the topic including its pros/cons
from various aspects
- should indicate the time required (I anticipate that a time limit of
15 minutes for the presentation will be set).
The tentative schedule is:
7th January - Proposal deadline
11th February - Notification of acceptance
11th - Presentation paper or material sent to 'sig-policy'
3-7th March - Presentation of paper at SIG
