Re: [IANAxfer@apnic] The charter of IANAxfer@APNIC
Thank you Colleagues,
Good to see the original charter is discussed among the community and modified to the more favorable.
Anyone with opinion please express it, and we will finalize it shortly and concentrate on the main job for the substance.
After our Brisbane one, we had ARIN, are having RIPE, LACNIC and then AFRINIC.
This mailing list is for us to develop our own proposal, reflecting what will be discussed in other region, crafting the detail, toward the finalization.
It would be somehow dynamic process, which itself is a challenge, but we need to do it.
Please keep track the discussion on this ML and encourage you to join to express your opinion - sometimes a simple expression of support has its own value.
See you here!

| My opinion about particiation on this mailing list is:
|
| - The list should help to encourage people in the APNIC community to
| share their views and have discussions.
| - Participation is open to people outside the APNIC region, including
| expressing opinions about the proposal being developed in the APNIC
| region.
| - It helps if people outside the APNIC region can be considerate when
| posting, in terms of volumes of posts and words, so that there is
| enough space for people in the APNIC community to participate in
| discussions if they wish.
|
| Your draft makes sense to me overall and made minior changes to reflect
| some of the points I described above.
|
|
| ------------------------
|
| The purpose of this mailing list is to discuss the proposals and desired
| outcome from the APNIC community related to the IANA transition process
| from US Government to Global Multi stakeholder community.
|
| While the list is intended to encourage discussions by members of the
| APNIC community, anyone, including those from other region/community, is
| welcome to join this list and share the information and point of view
| within the purpose of this list.
|
| Any positive contribution is welcome from within the APNIC community and
| outside, while keeping in mind the cultural diversity, respect for the
| difference of opinion, and sensitivity for non-native English speakers.
| APNIC mailing list code of conduct will be strictly

|
|
|
| Please note that this mailing list is strictly for IANA transition/transfer
