Dear Community Members,

Right now, we don’t have any official charter for this mailing list and introductory text says as follows;

>This new mailing list is for discussions on the proposals and desired outcomes from the APNIC community of the process to transition IANA away from the US Government.

Since APNIC community is now discussing our outcomes and other communities are also doing so in parallel,

I would like to propose describing the scope of this list more clear and making it official charter.

My preliminary draft is,

This mailing list is for discussion on the proposals and desired outcomes from the APNIC community of the process to transition IANA away from the US Government in terms of number resources perspective.

It is welcome to share information about discussions in different regions and communities and global coordination, but it is not a place to discuss such topics.

Anyone is welcome to join this list, but participants are asked to respect the opinions of others, keeping in mind cultural differences.

Debate is encouraged, but personal attacks and inflammatory language is prohibited.

First sentence are copied from current introductory text, and second sentence amend first one.

Third and forth are discussion manners which are captured from the charter of apnic-talk.

It is very appreciate if you would share your comments.
