in September this year.
So this email is to highlight the efforts of the Mongolian Internet
community to organise their first event, and share the call for papers.

mnNOG 1: Call for Papers

The mnNOG Programme Committee is seeking contributions for
Presentations for the first Mongolian Network Operators Group
conference, being held on Monday 16th September 2019, in Ulaanbaatar.
Important dates:
Call for Papers Opens Now
Draft Program Published 16th August 2019
Deadline for Proposals 15th August 2019
Final Program Published 2nd September 2019
Final Slides Received 15th September 2019

Presentation slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis,
so prospective presenters should submit their proposals without delay.
Note: Any marketing, sales and vendor proprietary content in
presentation is against the spirit of mnNOG and it is strictly
prohibited.
Conference Presentations:
The mnNOG PC would like to invite the community to propose talks that
are relevant to the Internet operational and research community. The
topics given below are some examples of what the PC expects to make up
the mnNOG programme. Presentations should be no more than 25 minutes
long, and with suitable technical content for a technical audience.
- IPv4 / IPv6 Routing and Operations
- IPv6 deployment and transition technologies
- Internet backbone operations
- ISP and Carrier services
- IXPs and Peering
- Research on Internet Operations and Deployment
- Software Defined Networking / Network Function Virtualisaton
- Network security issues (NSP-SEC, DDoS, Anti-Spam, Anti-Malware)
- DNS / DNSSEC
- Access and Transport Technologies, including Cable/DSL, LTE/5G,
wireless, metro ethernet, fibre, segment routing
- Content & Service Delivery (Multicast, Voice, Video,
"telepresence", Gaming) and Cloud Computing
Presentation Submissions:
Draft slides MUST be provided with all submissions, preferably in PDF
format. The Programme Committee will be unable to review the
submission without slides. For work in progress, the most current
information available at time of submission is acceptable.
The mnNOG conference will be conducted in the Mongolian language, but
submissions and presentations in the English language are most welcome
from our international friends.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the first ever mnNOG in
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
