I've been to PP quite a few times, and have an office there with staff. If anyone needs help with anything while they are in PP, please let me know.
I will be based in PP for a few weeks before the conference, so if anyone is arriving early, needs help with SIM cards, air port pickups for other than Nagaworld, and so on, please let me know and I will put you in contact with a travel company I work with. If you want any private tours organised, I also have some local friends who speak great english, who can design something special for you.
I've worked with lots of locals, and will post a list in early August of contact details of useful people who will be able to help with things.
If you are looking for places to stay that are cheaper than the main venue, but close by, please let me know and I will help you out as much as I can - places range from $40/night + and are quite nice.
If you are thinking of bringing your wife, Shanti (my wife) will also be there beforehand and can help with shopping, Spa's, and all the cool things to do.
A strange little tip for the Americans coming - bring as many US$2 notes as you can. They are rare in Cambodia and are considered a good luck symbol and people often carry them in their wallet. So paying with a $2 note will be received well.
