APNIC gets ready for Phase 3 of DNSSEC

APNIC is following a three-phase implementation plan for the Domain Name
Security Extensions (DNSSEC), and is currently preparing for the
deployment of Phase Three.
Phase Three involves the introduction of Member DNSSEC data. To prepare
for this as part of APNIC's Phase Three roadmap, on 3 May 2011, APNIC
submitted its DNSSEC DS (Delegation Signer) records to IANA, allowing
DNSSEC validation to occur from the root zones down to APNIC's reverse
DNS zones.
This DS submission was also part of the Key Signing Key (KSK) rolling
activity that commenced on 1 May 2011 at 10:00 (UTC +10) as part of the
APNIC operational settings for DNSSEC.
