Sameer, Just ask the APNIC EC for it. If it is appropriate they will
supply it to you. Also, if you go in as though you are on a witch hunt trying to
gather evidence, then you are not going to find people very forthcoming. You also need to be prepared to acknowledge that while there are
significant improvements that could be made in APNIC, that the guys are doing a
‘bad’ job – just perhaps being able to do some things better. Travel is a concern of mine, and I’d like to see policies and
transparency surround it overhauled. Elections... well, that is a BIG issue and based on the
discussions of this list we need to have more discussion, but we are an organisation
of many nationalities that are used to doing things many different ways, and we
have to realise that this will be a very passionate discussion with much
misunderstanding as it is carried out in the non-native language of many of the
participants. Perhaps the best way to do this is to form an election
committee, or special purpose committee by the EC which could request proposals
from interested parties and then present its findings to the EC and membership,
like a Senate Committee (Australian politics). This might not be the best way, but clearly there is a part of
the membership that is unhappy... and it should be examined for its merits. ...Skeeve -- Skeeve Stevens, CEO/Technical Director eintellego Pty Ltd - The Networking Specialists skeeve at eintellego dot net / www.eintellego.net Phone: 1300 753 383, Fax: (+612) 8572 9954 Cell +61 (0)414 753 383 / skype://skeeve www.linkedin.com/in/skeeve ; facebook.com/eintellego -- NOC, NOC, who's there?
