[apnic-talk] Speaking slots at APRICOT 2010 still available
The Programme Committee greatly appreciates the response and effort
made by authors and presenters so far in the Call for Conference
Papers for APRICOT 2010, to be held at the KLCC in Kuala Lumpur.
All tutorial slots are now full. There are still some speaking slots
available for the conference days running from 1st to 4th March 2010.
The PC would again like to encourage members of the community to submit
contributions for the conference programme. Talks can be from 10 to 30
minutes long. (See the CfP:
http://www.apricot2010.net/contribute/call-for-papers.)
If you have a good idea for a presentation but would like some help or
encouragement to develop it, please contact me and I'll be happy to
put you in touch with someone on the PC who will be able to help you.
Or if you have work in progress, but can't really write slides or
submit the idea just yet, please let us know via the submission
system, and give us a target date for slides. There may be last
minute slots available in the programme, or we may be able to consider
your topic for the Lightning Talks portion of the conference.
Please submit proposals on-line at
http://submission.apricot.net/paper/user/index.php?event=22
Note that the PC will not consider submissions unless draft slides of
sufficient detail are included or there is suitable alternative
explanation why slides can't be provided.
Also, APRICOT is a TECHNICAL conference so marketing and commercial
content is not allowed within the program.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks!
