Thanks
Andy for putting the discussion back on track. When
the angular momentum of the discussion is too high, there is a tendency to go
off on a tangent. Debate is always a good thing and one shall not be shy to
face it but once when one finds lack of focus rather direction, it reaches to the
existence issue and all sort of emotional reactions. While
giving the recognition, in the interest of openness and transparency the
application is posted on APNIC website subsequent to the meetings/validating/going-through
the criteria of: 1. Endorsement at National level by the appropriate Government
body, 2. Non-profit structure,
3. Neutrality, 4 Funding, 5. Capacity and 6. Operational Procedures filed by
the applicant. For India, NIXI has adhered. Hope
we can debate meaningfully with the clarity contributed by you. J Regards
and best wishes, Naresh
