APRICOT 2008: Call for Lightning Talks

The APRICOT 2008 call for lightning talks is now open!
All registered APRICOT 2008 attendees are invited to submit a proposal
and attend the Lightning Talks to be held:
Thursday 28 February 2008, 09:00 - 10:30
Ballroom II
If you've thought about presenting at a future APRICOT, a lightning talk
this year is a great place to start!
Talks on topics that are timely, interesting, or even a little crazy,
are invited. The APRICOT Programme Committee will evaluate all
submissions and choose the best eight. Talks must be relevant to the
APRICOT community:

What is a lightning talk?
-------------------------
Lightning talks are short talks/presentations on relevant topics that
last no more than 10 minutes. This time limit is strictly enforced.

How to submit a lightning talk
------------------------------
Your submission should include:
- Your name and affiliation
- Talk name
- A brief description of your talk (no more than three sentences)
Additionally, if you plan to use presentation slides, include:
- A final version of your presentation slides (average 3-4 slides)
as all slides will be presented from a common laptop during
Lightning Talks. Include:
- The PowerPoint or KeyNote source file
- PDF version of the presentation if possible
