[apnic-talk] Call for nominations for the positions of IPv6 tech SIGco-c
Dr. Jun Murai, one of the co-chairs of the IPv6 Technical SIG, decided
to resign because he is too busy recently.
Thus, APNIC seeks a volunteer to serve as co-chair for the IPv6
technical SIG. The duties of the co-chair are as follows:
- Chairing the SIG session
- Developing the agenda
- Being active in moderating discussions on the SIG mailing
list
- Posting information about the SIG to the mailing list
If you are interested in becoming a co-chair, please email the
chair and copy your email to sig at apnic dot net.

Please include a brief description of your interest and suitability.
The period for nominations is one month from this posting.
(ie 13 Oct 2004)
If there are two or more volunteers there will be elections at the
next SIG session to choose the new co-chair. Candidates will be
expected to make a short statement of their interest and suitability
to the audience of the SIG.
All SIG chairs and co-chairs undertake this work on a volunteer
basis. APNIC speaks on behalf of the community in being very
appreciative of the work done by the chairs and co-chairs.
