Re: [apnic-talk][Apnic-announce] Important WSIS event: The Internet - Ho
As I am familiar with all of these speakers, none of which really know
how or why the internet "Works", I am surprised as they will be speakers
at this WSIS event. Recently Telstra, previous employer of Paul Towmey,
whom is now CEO of ICANN and ICANN being under increasing scrutiny
by the USG, and the EU as well as Telstral under a severe legal cloud
for past transgressions, I cannot see him as as speaker of any real
value at WSIS on How and Why the internet works.
Lynn St.Amour, CEO or the IETF which isn't even a real corp
but a non-profit group of some renown took over the rains for
it's recent past CEO after severe pressure form many development
and architecture groups regarding it's elimination of individual
members without their prior knowledge or consent leaves much
ethical reason to be desired as to knowing How and Why the
internet "Works. Not a good choice here either..
Raul Echeberria now CEO of the relatively new LACNIC hardly
has the in depth experience and knowledge base to be a good
choice for a speaker for How and Why the internet works...
