16th APNIC Open Policy Meeting

Dear APNIC members and friends,
APNIC 16 is now in progress in Seoul, Korea. We welcome delegates to the
meeting.
We also extend a warm welcome to first-time attendees and fellows. For the
first time at an APNIC meeting, APNIC offered a fellowship programme, to
allow members of the Internet community in the developing economies of the
Asia Pacific region to attend. The fellowship programme has been supported
by the World Bank Information for Development (infoDev) Program.
Meeting services
----------------
To promote involvement in the meeting and to make proceedings as accessible
as possible, we are providing a number of enhanced meeting services, including:
- Multicasting of sessions in Korean and English
- Simultaneous translation to Korean
- Live transcripts of sessions and broadcast of these to the Internet
Members not present at the meeting can follow the discussions on the
multicasts or by viewing the live transcripts. Access instructions are

Meeting presentations
---------------------
Due to reduced demand, no printed handouts of presentations will be
provided during APNIC 16. Presentations will be posted online, but
attendees may wish to print copies using the printing facilities in the
terminal room.
APNIC Helpdesk
--------------
Delegates are also invited to visit the APNIC Helpdesk to learn more about
the member service, MyAPNIC, as well as request a digital certificate from
the APNIC Certification Authority. A digital certificate provides secure
access to MyAPNIC services.
