      APNIC Open Policy Meeting Update:

          IP ADDRESSES FOR MOBILE PHONES

The discussion paper "Tackling the Mobile Addressing Problem" examines the
issues faced in developing a scalable solution for assigning IP addresses
      to mobile phones.

This paper was prepared by Kim Fullbrook on behalf of the GSM Association
and will be presented by Linh Duong at the Address Policy SIG at the APNIC
      meeting on 26 October.

APNIC now seeks your thoughts and suggestions on this issue.

The discussion paper (along with other meeting documents) is available
from the meeting web site at: http://www.apnic.net/meetings/

From the navigation menu just follow the links: Programme -> Documents

We look forward to receiving your comments on the
<apnic-talk at lists dot apnic dot net> mailing list and at the meeting.
