Dear APNIC Member,

APNIC will be upgrading the primary whois server, whois.apnic.net during
the Saturday October 16th maintenance window between 8:00 - 12:00 UTC+10.
During this upgrade the existing server will be replaced with a 2 way
SCO/Compaq Non-Stop Cluster to improve the performance and reliability of
our public services.

The following services will be affected for periods of at most 15 minutes
during the maintenance window: whois, dns, www.apnic.net and mailing
lists.  Both dns and email services will be provided by our secondary
servers during this time.

this may cause.
