Dear Colleague,

This is a call for nominations of individuals from the Asia Pacific
region, to serve on the NRO Number Council. As of 31 December 2005,
one Asia Pacific Number Council seat will become vacant, and will be
filled for the next two years by an individual nominated through this
open call. The selection process will involve an open election to be
held during the APNIC 20 Open Policy Meeting, in Hanoi, Vietnam, on
Friday 9 September 2005, and the elected individual must be willing
to serve a two-year term, beginning 1 January 2006.


    * Deadline for nominations: 10 August 2005
    * Election scheduled for: 9 September 2005

Please note that the NRO Number Council representatives now fulfil
the role of ICANN's ASO Address Council. Responsibilities of NRO NC
