With APNIC 19 and APRICOT 2005 only few days away, this is a friendly
reminder regarding some last-minute meeting information and services to
help onsite or online meeting participants get the most out of APNIC
19.

1. Nominations for Executive Council
------------------------------------
There have been 10 nominations received to fill the four vacancies in
APNIC Executive Council election to be held during the APNIC Member
Meeting on 25 February 2005. If you are not able to attend the AMM, you
can still make your vote count by appointing a proxy to represent you
at the meeting. To do this, please print the proxy form and fax a
signed copy to APNIC. Proxy forms must be received by Wednesday 23

2. APNIC reception
------------------
APNIC members and friends are invited to attend the APNIC reception at
Matsui Inn on Wednesday 23 February 2005. This is a free event; however
places are limited so it is essential to reserve a ticket. Details of

3. Live meeting features
------------------------
If you cannot attend the meeting onsite, you can still participate
online. APNIC will provide video streaming and live transcripts of the
following meeting sessions:
- Internet governance
- IPv6 technical SIG
- Routing SIG
- Policy SIG
- Database SIG
- DNS operations SIG and
- APNIC Member Meeting
As well as following events, you can also have your say on meeting
topics via Jabber chat rooms. Send your comments or questions via chat
and your questions will be read out at the session. Attendees in Kyoto
who would prefer not to ask questions at the microphone can also use
Jabber to have their questions and comments read out by APNIC
Secretariat staff.

4. APNIC Helpdesk and flash demos

Please come to visit our APNIC Helpdesk at the entrance of demo area,
Room D, to learn more about APNIC's services or to request a digital
certificate.
MyAPNIC and policy development demonstrations will also be on display.
5. Hostmaster consultations
---------------------------
Members will also be able to book consultations with APNIC hostmasters
during the meeting to discuss resource requests and registration

6. Onsite Notice Board
--------------------------------------
The Onsite Notice Board provides meeting delegates with any last minute
updates on daily meeting events. The information covers meeting
announcements, venue information and schedules.
