APNIC seeks comments on the following draft documents:
-------------------
ASN POLICY DRAFT
Policies for Autonomous System number management in the Asia Pacific region
* Final call for comments, re-issued at the request of the
Address Policy SIG at APNIC 14
* This draft has been accepted in principle by consensus at
APNIC 14, subject to this final call for comments
* Previously, AS number policy was contained in APNIC-076. Because
that document has now been obsoleted, it was necessary to create
a specific AS number policy document.
* This draft contains policies relating to requesting, assigning,
and registering AS numbers in the Asia Pacific region.
* This is a category B review under the APNIC Document Review
procedures.
-------------------
IPv4 REQUEST GUIDELINES DRAFT
APNIC Guidelines for IPv4 Allocation and Assignment requests
* These draft guidelines are intended to complement the
document "Policies for IPv4 address space management in the
Asia Pacific region", which provides for APNIC to publish
guidelines relating to specific request evaluation requirements
and best current practice issues.
* These guidelines will be updated from time to time, in
consultation with the Asia Pacific and global Internet communities,
to ensure that they remain appropriate to the current addressing
environment.
* As a guidelines document, this draft does not have a formal review
category under the APNIC Document Review procedures.
