Dear Colleague,
APNIC has much pleasure in inviting you to attend APNIC's 14th Open

The meeting will be held at the Kitakyushu International Conference

issues relevant to the Asia Pacific Internet community. The programme
will include APNIC training and tutorials, Special Interest Groups
(SIGs), Birds of a Feather sessions (BOFs), hostmaster consultations,
the APNIC Member Meeting (AMM) and social events. A draft programme is

is available until Friday 2 August 2002 and offers a considerable saving
of US$150 for the Open Policy Meeting. Attendance at the AMM on 6
September 2002 is free of charge for APNIC members. Members should quote
their Member Account Name on the registration form to ensure that the
correct member rates are applied.
The registration form includes an option to pay via a secure online
credit card payments processing system. To minimise delays at the onsite
registration desk delegates are encouraged to process payments of
registration fees before the meeting.
Visitor information
-------------------
To assist delegates with their travel plans JPNIC has also published a
range of local information about visiting and traveling to Kitakyushu.

Call for sponsorships
---------------------
As usual, APNIC is offering sponsorship opportunities for the meeting.
Sponsor contributions provide valuable support for APNIC meetings and
help to ensure the high standard of meetings and that registration fees
are kept as low as possible. A range of sponsorship options is
available, providing an opportunity for sponsors to support this
important event, and promote your organisation within a strong community
of Internet engineers and managers. Approximately 200-250 delegates from
the region and elsewhere in the world are expected to attend. The
sponsorship package is available at:
http://www.apnic.net/meetings/14/sponsors
Sponsorships fill on first-come first-served basis, so it is important
to lodge an early expression of interest to secure the desired
sponsorship option.
