APNIC is pleased to release the draft APNIC Reverse DNS Delegation Form.
This form is to be used to provide information to APNIC for the
sub-delegation of in-addr.arpa and ip6.int domains, which allows for the
mapping of IP addresses into domain names.
Previously, reverse DNS requests were made with APNIC-064
(ftp://ftp.apnic.net/apnic/archive/apnic-064.txt). However, with the recent
introduction of an automated reverse DNS system at APNIC, it has become
necessary to revise that form.
The new draft form is available in text format at:
http://ftp.apnic.net/apnic/drafts/reverse-dns
We encourage all members and other interested parties to review this draft
and send any comments and suggestions you may have to the
<apnic-talk at apnic dot net> mailing list.
