Draft IPv6 Policy Document
***************************************************************************
APNIC is pleased to make available the latest draft "IPv6 Assignment
and Allocation Policy Document" for your information. This document
http://www.apnic.net/drafts/ipv6 is the result of
a collaborative effort of all the Regional Internet Registries (APNIC, ARIN, and RIPE)
and aims to provide a responsible, globally consistent framework for the
management of IPv6 address space.
IPv6 address space is a public resource and, therefore, its management
involves developing policies which achieve the best possible balance of the
needs of all members of the Internet community. APNIC encourages you, as a
member of the Internet community, to read this document and consider its
implications. We invite you to make any comments you feel would be
constructive to the development of a further draft.
Discussion of this draft will take place on the 6bone mailing list. To join this
list, please refer to http://www.6bone.net/6bone_email.html. If you would
prefer to make private comments about this document, please contact either
Paul Wilson <pwilson at apnic dot net> or Anne Lord <anne at apnic dot net>.
