Our policy work on Inter-RIR transfers has been complemented by the ARIN policies.

While this may provide some short term relief for those needing IPv4 resources, I hope we still see IPv6 deployment as the way ahead.

On 6 June 2012 the ARIN Board of Trustees adopted the following policies:

ARIN-2011-1: ARIN Inter-RIR Transfers
ARIN-2012-1: Clarifying requirements for IPv4 transfers
ARIN-2012-3: ASN Transfers

These policies will be implemented no later than 31 July 2012.
