webinar was well attended by ninety seven participants from across the
country and belonging to different stakeholder groups (civil society, academia,
industry, industry associations, technical community, etc.) who shared their
viewpoints and perspectives on the PDP Bill.
We further, encourage all community members to make
your submissions to the Joint Select Committee (which is currently
reviewing the PDP Bill) on the issues that need to be addressed in the bill so
that a robust data protection law can be enacted in India.

It's kind of strange that Personal Data Protection bill
itself is placed on a non-HTTPS URL and even a non-DNS URL!
So when you put http://164.100.47.219/BillsTexts/LSBillTexts/Asintroduced/373_2019_LS_Eng.pdf
- How can I know it's actually the same bill version which you intend to share
and (chain) of ISPs between me and NIC server on 164.100.47.219 have not fudged
the reply?
If anyone is here from NIC - please start using DNS and
HTTPS.
