Hi Raj

I doubt it's a case of IPv6 NAT from your upstream because 1st hop isn't your IP and further next few hops are not your or upstream IP.
1st hop itself is Reliance Jio and likely you are learning it because of router advert. Please see which interface of your system has IPv6 from pool 2405:201:a804:7073::/64.

(Assuming your system here is connected to your own router and not the upstream port)

Hi Anurag,

Thanks for the heads up . I had also arrived at the same inference.

I suggest the First Option is  the one. The Second option, does not arise as because all is good , when   Advertisement done through Other Upstream AS 132215 , all is perfect. The Folks at AS 55507 says its not there for them to check anything .

PFB Traceroute for the same.

C:\>tracert he.net

Hi Raj

Fascinating issue!  :-)

Two things:
  1. What do you see in the trace to any IPv6 destination like say he.net? Does it go via your upstream? If yes then it's cause of your upstream doing source NAT on IPv6 o_O

  2. Maybe you have a different interface on system or router and trace goes from that instead of upstream. In that case please find why that exists!

Let us know what do you find!

Hi Folks ,

Hope you all are doing Fine. Getting a Peculiar Issue,  AS 55507 is one of my Upstream, whenever I peer with him , and advertise my Prefixes on IP v$ . No IP V6 prefixes advertised,  a peculiar thing happens when I go  to www.whatismyip.com

I get IP v6 Address from Reliance Jio, I asked the Folks managing the Network at AS 55507 , but they are unable to give any satisfactory explanation.
