Greetings SANOG community. We are pleased to announce SANOG-37 to be hosted by LKNOG, SriLanka from 12th to 19th July 2021. SANOG-37 will be an Online event along with physical local presence to make it a hybrid event, if current covid situation in SriLanka is manageable at that time. Our program committee will soon publish a call for paper to reach out to greater participation in the event. Docker for Network Operators (part 2) – 26th June 2021 3pm to 5pm

Hello everyone, As the second covid wave seems to be in control in India, I hope all of you & your family members are well. We will be having the 2nd session on Docker for Network Operators on upcoming Saturday on 26th June from 3pm to 5pm. This session will cover things like container migration, DNS (auth + resolver which we missed last time due to time constraint), mail server and ticketing system setup - all using docker containers and easy to use web UI of these applications. If you have any specific application in mind which you would like to be covered for ISP operations, please do let us know. I will be covering these topics along with my friend Abhinav Krishna who is an Open Source Software Enthusiast and Contributor from Kerala. Spoofer Report for INNOG for May 2021

In response to feedback from operational security communities, CAIDA's source address validation measurement project (https://spoofer.caida.org) is automatically generating monthly reports of ASes originating prefixes in BGP for systems from which we received packets with a spoofed source address. We are publishing these reports to network and security operations lists in order to ensure this information reaches operational contacts in these ASes. ________________________________________________________________________ Expanded ISIF Asia Grants and Awards program now open for applications ________________________________________________________________________ Applications are now open for the 2021 Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF Asia) Grants and Awards program, which this year will become one of the largest Internet development initiatives of its kind in the Asia Pacific. https://isif.asia The grants and awards program empowers organizations across the Asia Pacific region to research, design and implement Internet-based solutions to solve Internet development challenges that support community development and growth. Since 2008, ISIF Asia has provided 77 grants, 29 awards, allocating USD 3.58 million to 106 initiatives across 24 Asia Pacific economies. This year's ISIF Asia program will dramatically increase funding available to eligible public and private sector, academia, non-profit and social enterprise projects with USD 1.7 million available.
