In addition to the updates, what many people around me doesn't seem to understand is the current role the US government plays on the IANA function.

I feel having very basic explanations with a diagram may be helpful.

I don't know if there are already avaiable links for this - If you need to develop one, I am happy to help as we probably need to do something similar for our Japanese community.
