Hi everyone, As mentioned during the closing of the conference on Friday, we are looking at the idea of holding the next Bhutan NOG meeting in early May next year. November seems to be too busy (hotels, local year end activities), and May looks a lot quieter and more feasible on most calendars that we have consulted. Also, please don't forget about the Facebook group - please join as we'd like to do more of the chat about future meetings of the NOG there (email seems to be old fashioned, and as I pointed out on Friday at the conference, Facebook is 23% of all the Internet traffic in Bhutan!). https://www.facebook.com/groups/605706299536102/ Best wishes! philip --

BTNOG 3 conference

Hello everyone, The 3rd BTNOG Workshops are well under way with around 50 participants taking part in the Virtualisation, System Security, and Routing Workshops. BGP Policy Update - Questionnaire (only 3 questions) for research purposes (SNE/OS3 MSc. thesis University of Amsterdam)

Dear members, I am sorry in advance if you received this email twice. It is not a spam. This is my last try to promote my questionnaire about my master theseis and gather as many statistics as possible. So, I am send it out again for who did not notice the first time. My name is Stamatis Maritsas and I am a master student of System and Network Engineering MSc. (SNE/OS3) program at University of Amsterdam, currently conducting my master's thesis project titled: "A decentralized system for automatic exchange of policies for BGP configurations" The purpose of the questionnaire (only 3 questions :)), that you will find in the following link, is to help me gather important information based on your implemented BGP routing policy, which will help design an exchange policy system in the most efficient way. I want also to inform you that all the data that will be gathered and used will be only for research purposes and fully anonymized.
