Philip,
I agree with you - Sharing information on APOPS list is a
good start for future collabolation.
Just for discussion, SANOG, PacNOG, NZNOG are so fortunate
to talk in English that they can easily do that with their
usual languages. In this direction of sharing information,
JANOG has an inherent disadvantage of language. We are now
under consideration about increasing our communication
capability in English as an organization and we might come
to publish such information once we get ready someday.
Practically so far, we intend more for mutual communication
with other NOGs than publishing our information to public,
anticipating some security threat which needs international
cooperations. We will do something in this way for the
time being.

Akinori for JANOG Committee

| And it's a great list!

| I think what we should all really try in the next step is to at least
| share information on our upcoming meetings, &c. For example, SANOG
| meetings are announced on this APOPS lists, not to mention call for
| presentations and for fellowships. PacNOG, although it is still in its
| infancy, will follow the same strategy. At least this will increase
| awareness across the region, if not further afield (as we have many
| non-AsiaPac subscribers to APOPS)...
