APNIC Academy website refreshed

APNIC’s online learning platform, the APNIC Academy, has been updated
with a range of new and exciting changes, including:
- New Virtual Labs to try out your skills on different network
devices
- Video-based learning content and self-paced tutorials
- Access to third-party resources to complement your learning
- New features such as course status, course notes, and much more

APNIC Academy aims to support the people who build, operate, and
maintain the Internet. The easy-to-use platform provides courses to help
network operators, educators, and regulators understand networking best
practices, principles, and techniques; manage Internet number resources
better; and use appropriate Internet technologies more effectively.
There is no minimum required knowledge and it is free.
New content will continue to be added in the coming months, including
courses on IPv6 and the APNIC Policy Development Process.
Community feedback on the new-look APNIC Academy site is welcomed.

Online voting for the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO
NC) election opens today, Tuesday, 28 August 2018.
Online voting is available only to APNIC Members until 09:00 (UTC +11)
on Tuesday, 11 September 2018.

can cast *one* vote online using MyAPNIC:

Dear Community Members,
The APNIC Secretariat is now seeking volunteers to serve as a member
of the IANA Numbering Services Review Committee (IANA RC).
The IANA Numbering Services Review Committee’s function is to advise
and assist the Number Resource Organization (NRO EC) in its periodic
review of the service level of the IANA Numbering Services provided to
the Internet Number Community.
The elected member will server a two-year term, starting 1 January 2019.
