i suspect a logistic mistake was made in the proposal.  if it had been
split into two, conversion to aud the raise separated, the former would
likely have passed as getting income in a volatile currency other than
the one in which apnic incurs expenses is plain silly.

so let me ask a question.  would anyone strongly object if the ec was to
institute just the currency change for 2008 starting in 1 jan?  that is,
fees to be charged in aud as opposed to usd.
