[sig-routing] Routing SIG news
Hi everyone,
Just to bring you up to date with events during APRICOT.
My term as Routing SIG Chair came to an end at this meeting. I sent out
a call for nominations on the 12th of January. Only one nomination (for
me) was received meaning that I was returned unopposed as Routing SIG
Chair for a further 2 year term.
Also at the Routing SIG meeting, it was agreed that the IRR WG, an
informal and chair-less working group looking at the Internet Routing
Registry system, should now be incorporated within the Routing SIG
activities.
Finally, I undertook to take a look at the Routing SIG Charter to see if
improvements or greater focus could be achieved. I'll work with my
co-chairs, Randy Bush and Tomoya Yoshida, on possible changes or
improvements, and forward a draft to the list in due course.
