Dear APNIC members and friends,

There are only six weeks to go before APNIC 20 commences in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In this announcement:

1. IPv6 workshop
2. Pre-conference routing workshop
3. Early bird registration extended



1. IPv6 workshop
----------------
Places are still available for the full day IPv6 workshop run by Jordi Palet (Consulintel).

Date: Tuesday 6 September 2005

Participants will have hands-on experience of installing IPv6 on different platforms, basic stateless/statefull configuration, transition mechanisms, and more. More details are available at:

2. Pre-conference routing workshop
----------------------------------
We are pleased to announce the following pre-conference technical workshop, added to the programme since the last meeting announcement was sent:

Six-day routing workshop run by Philip Smith (Cisco) and Amante Alvaran (APNIC)

Date: Tuesday 30 August - Monday 5 September 2005
     (no sessions on the national holiday, Friday 2 September)

This workshop will cover basic aspects of OSPF and BGP and also provide hands-on router configuration workshop. More details are available at:

3. Early bird registration extended
