[sig-policy] Call for volunteers to be Policy SIG Chair
Dear Policy SIG member
APNIC is seeking a volunteer to serve as Chair of the Policy SIG. The
Chair is a voluntary position whose responsibilities include:
- Chairing the SIG session
- Developing the agenda
- Posting proposals and information about the SIG to the mailing
list
- Encouraging and facilitating discussion on the mailing list
and at the APNIC meeting

If you are interested in this position, please send an expression of
interest, including a short biography in an email to <policy at apnic dot net>
and CC <sig-policy-chair at apnic dot net>.
The nomination deadline is Tuesday, 24 August 2010.
If there are any volunteers, elections to select the new Chair will be
held in the Policy SIG meeting at APNIC 30 Gold Coast, Australia, 24-27
August 2010.
All SIG Chairs undertake this work on a voluntary basis. The APNIC
Secretariat speaks on behalf of the community in saying we are very
appreciative of the work done by the Chairs and Co-chairs.
