i am sorry to have to say this, but ...

some posters to this list have received quite aggressive and very
inappropriate private email telling them they should not be posting.
this is neither acceptable nor reasonable.

anyone is welcome to post to this list.

if your affiliation or representation is not clear, please make it
clear.  and please accept that we take in-region comments more seriously
from a procedural, not intellectual, point of view than those from our
brothers and sisters from other regions.

this is not to encourage anyone to post the same thing 42 times. :)
