Dear Geoff,
I personally understood the intention of the proposal "Proposal to
amend APNIC IPv6 assignment and utilization requirement policy".
However, from the ISP's service viewpoint, I would like to ask
a question.
In this proposal, there are few mention of the current IPv6 address
holders. Actually, in Japan, several ISPs (including our NTT group
companies) have already started IPv6 commercial services, and there
are already over a hundred thousands of IPv6 customers. So, it is
practically impossible to renumber, or to change the assignment size
of the current service.
Could you please teach me how do you think about current address holders
in your proposal?
Yours sincerely,
--
