Many thanks for your email. On behalf of the Internet community in this 
region, I would like to extend to you our sincere appreciation and 
heartfelt thanks for all your support over the years. You will most 
certainly be missed!

Since you mention that you will kindly be chairing the Policy SIG until 
the end of the session, the election as you suggest will be held as one 
of the last items on the Policy SIG agenda.

In the meantime, the Secretariat will issue a 'call for nominations' for 
the position of chair.
