Does the last sentence mean 'it is not compulsory for an end site

Yes, but perhaps this isnt the best language. I think that the last
sentence should actually be removed or at least rephrased. Perhaps we
could say something like.. "as in IPv4, it is the LIRs responsibility to
delegate or to maintain PTR records for its customers networks."
If you (or the IPv6 guidelines wg) has suggestions for alternative wording
please let the Secretariat know).
| The minimum size of a reverse DNS delegation is /48.
Is there a special intension to specify this?
I have the feeling that it is not necessary to say this, since longer
prefixes can of course be delegated. Perhaps it is better to say that the
size of the reverse delegation by an LIR to an end site will typically be a
/48, in line with the recommended minimum assignment to an end-site.
It is possible to delegate longer prefix than /48 and some
organizations may delegate such prefix in their internal network.
And add the above sentence to clarify.
As described at Sec 5, this guidelines document is for ISPs (not for
end sites), so it is Ok from that viewpoint, but if previous sentence
describes an end site (my question above), I think it's better to
clarify the condition for /48 minimum delegation (e.g. from ISP to
end sites).
