[sig-policy]Belief summary of 7th Address Policy SIG

All,

Thank you for your participation in 7th Address Policy SIG
where we had 12 topics in 3 sessions.

Long, tough but fruitful discussions reached several rough consensus.
Here is a quick and belief summary. Please refer to meeting minutes
for more details which will be coming soon.

- SIG co-chairs election
Yong Wan Ju and Kenny Huang elected out of three candidates.

- Policy development process
Anne Lord, Ray Plzak, Randy Bush
	- Widen the opportunity for discussion
	- Minimum ML discussion period needed both before and after
If not sufficient before the meeting, no decision in the meeting
should allowed and more discussion needed in the ML afterwards
	- Full text format needed for proposal
	- Final approval issue will be carried over to AMM
	- General agreement in principle and more discussion needed

- IPv6 space management
	Paul Wilson
	- No objection about general direction
	- More discussion needed

These are not consensus but some useful inputs.

- IPv6 policy revision
	David Kessens
	- Editorial committee to collect various voices and compile them
	   into an revision item list
	- Keep discussing

- 2.0.0.2.ip6.arpa issue
	Randy Bush
	- Some people support the general idea that a reverse delegation
for 6to4 is useful provided by RIRs, but a comment was made
that there might be some fee structure for end users
to cover the cost if it is implemented

- 223.255.255.0/24 issue
	Anne Lord
	- Many different opinions about how to solve the procedural problem.
	- This is an operational issue between IANA and APNIC

There were other interesting presentations. Find more in the APNIC web pages.

Finally, the followings were open action items checked at the meeting.
All items were finished.

- Action add-14-001:
Secretariat to release ASN policy draft for an additional final round of comments
- Action add-14-002:
Secretariat to take steps to implement the experimental allocation proposal.
- Action add-14-003:
