My thanks for your amusing reference to RFC2822.

I thought it was obvious that I was providing the folk on this mailing  
list with an update of what was happening in the IDR Working Group  
with an effort to perform this AS number reservation in a manner that  
gets it into the IANA AS Number registry as a listed reservation.  
Evidently my intention was not so obvious to all.
