prop-054: NIR operational policy document revision

Dear NIR SIG members
APNIC 25 is now only two weeks away and we have not yet had any
discussion about the policy proposal to be presented in the NIR SIG,
'prop-054: NIR operational policy document revision'.
We strongly encourage you to have your say on this mailing list
before APNIC 25 to give the proposal authors time to amend their
proposal in response to community feedback, if needed, before the
meeting.
Discussion on the mailing list before the meeting also gives you
time to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages raised by others
and may help you to come to an informed decision about the
proposal's merits.

Here are some questions to help begin discussion:
- Do you support adding a reference to ip6.arpa to 'Operational
policies for National Internet Registries in the APNIC
region'?
- Do you support moving the technical descriptions of managing
reverse DNS zone out of 'Operational policies for National
Internet Registries in the APNIC region' and onto the APNIC
website?
- Is there anything in the proposal that is not clear?
- Do you see any disadvantages in this proposal?
- What changes could be made to this proposal to make it more
effective?
