Advance notice: APNIC EC endorsement of Consensus policy decisions

Dear NIR colleagues,

Just to let you know, that the APNIC Executive Council will tomorrow Friday 
14th May at their monthly teleconference meeting, be asked to endorse the 
following policy proposals:

[prop-014-v001] - A proposal to lower the IPv4 minimum allocation size and 
initial
allocation criteria in the Asia Pacific region

[prop-015-v001] - Should APNIC allocate global unicast IPv6 address space to
'unconnected' networks?

[prop-016-v002] - IPv6 allocations to organisations with existing IPv4 
infrastructure

[prop-017-v001] - Recovery of unused address space

[prop-018-v001] - Protecting historical records in the APNIC Whois Database

Details of each policy proposal, presentations, and minutes of the SIG and 
Member Meeting discussions are available on the policy proposal index page at:

This is the final stage in the policy development process before 
implementation. Implementation dates will be available shortly at the above 
URL.

The Secretariat will be making a public announcement of the policies that 
are endorsed shortly after the meeting.
