[sig-ipv6] IPv6 session during OGF25/EGEE UF4
Dear All,
in the framework of the forthcoming EGEE User Forum 4/ Open Grid Forum
25 joint event (Catania, Italy, 2-6 march 2009 ,
http://egee-uf4.eu-egee.org/ ),
we are organizing an IPv6 session, essentially devoted to the following
two main topics:
1) Overall need for IPv6 and associated deployment timescale;
2) IPv6 compliance of relevant Grid middleware distributions and
on-going IPv6 activities within the major international Grid projects.
Presentations on these two topics are very welcome, in order to describe
the current stand and common understanding on how the Grid is facing the
IPv6 challenge, to be able to cope with this major change in the
internet protocol and successfully address the new need of user
communities related to IPv6.
On behalf of the session organization team, I encourage everyone
interested to contact us, to define the terms and details of her/his
contribution to the IPv6 session.
