[sig-dns] IETF discussion

In the IETF there is a discussion regarding two documents that relate to the reverse map. I want to let the SIG know of this issue.

In the DNS Operations WG (DNSOP) there is a document that is nearing completion, this is the URL for it.

http://ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-dnsop-reverse-mapping-considerations-04.txt

Recently someone has introduced another document and is seeking comments on his.

http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-anderson-reverse-dns-status-00.txt

During the Chicago DNSOP meeting, there was no support for the latter draft, but the author if it is contesting this and is seeking opinions on his. If you are interested, the problem statement can best be gotten from this message:

http://www1.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/dnsop/current/msg05631.html

If folks want to discuss this on this list, I'll create a summary for the DNSOP mailing list. (Or you can make comments directly to that list.)
