Firstly, there are the minutes of this meeting at
  http://www.apnic.net/meetings/14/sigs/db/minutes.html#6 .

This presentation was made based on JPNIC Open Policy Meeting(JPOPM).
In the JPOPM, Toshio-san mentioned that Import/Export contents of
aut-num object included very sensitive information such as a network
  information which includes business information.
And, many of attendees in that meeting agreed his opinion.
Therefore, we reached the result what IRs should not disclose
import/export fields using aut-num object if IRs provides a
AS number searching service using WHOIS or IRR.
And also, some people mentioned that aut-num object is IRR object,
not WHOIS object. If so, IRR object and WHOIS object should be
  separated.

In the APNIC DB-SIG, I gave the presentation which included
  those contents.

Well, finally, I summarize some points in below.

    - WE(JPOPM attendees) proposed that IRs should not disclose
      import/export contents using aut-num object.
-> In discussion of APOPM, when APNIC register aut-num object
to APNIC Whois system, they do not register import/export
         contents. It is optional field.

    - WE mentioned that aut-num object is a 'IRR' object, not 'whois'
object. Any IRR object registration is 'OPTIONAL'. The other
hand, 'whois' object is 'MANDATORY', and it is registered by
IRs at first, therefore, 'IRR' object and 'whois' object should
be separate to two object for avoidance of complications.

Thank you.
