[From Shahid Akhtar of apdip] Information and Communication Technologies for Governance and Poverty Alleviation: Scaling up the Successes This research project aims to document the lessons learned in establishing community ICT projects in India. The study will evaluate the processes, technology, participation, services, business models, and policy dimensions leading up to their implementation. The study will also delve into the community participation aspect in a detailed manner making recommendations and providing new directions on how the development community and governments should approach rural/community ICT for development projects in future.
