Regarding Digital Divide

Dear Sir,

I would like to introduce myself as Shibesh Mahapatra, pursuing my MBA
in one of the top 10 B-schools in India i.e. S.P.Jain Institute of
Management & Research, Mumbai. We have an unique concept of Development
of Corporate Citizenship (DOCC) project of six weeks, which we do during
our summers after completion of the first year. We as a B-school believe

in applying the managerial concepts that we learn in first year into the
social sector such that the world becomes a better place to live in for

My project is about "Networking of ICT volunteers for Bridging the
Digital Divide in India", which I am doing under the social organisation
InteractiveKarma, Ahmedabad.

I came to know about this egroup from the net. Sir, I would request you
for a help, to give me the contact addresses of social organisations in
India & Abroad, who are into eVolunteering such that widening gap
between the have & havenots can be bridged in India by designing a
business model for the same.

I would be interested in discussing with them the critical issues which
they face at present, their mode of functioning & what are the various
steps that can be taken to bring all of them on to a common platform to
prevent the information poverty, which at present is ravaging the poor
people.
